Adding new product categories and subcategories.

login to the backend of the site.

1. 1. Click on Categories.

   

2. 2. Click on Name and enter the title of the new category.

   

3. 3. Click on Slug and retype the title of the category but all lower case and replace a space with a hyphen (-).

   

4. 4. If the new category is going to be a subcategory for an existing category, select this dropdown and choose the correct parent category that will house this new subcategory. When finished, click on the blue button that says Add new category.
