coreSTORE - Inventory: Establishing an Attribute

In this guide, we will cover creating a new attribute for your variation items. For this example, we will create a Size attribute.

Click on Attributes

First, navigate to the Inventory menu option and select the Attributes submenu from the coreSTORE menu bar.

Click on Add Attribute

In the top-right corner of your Attributes Dashboard, click the Add Attribute button.

Attribute Name

In the Attribute Name field enter the name of your desired attribute, in this example we are going to use size.

Use For Variation

Since this attribute will be used for a variation item, make sure to enable the Use For Variation Item option.

Channels Options

You will also have the ability to use the attribute as a field on your established channels, such as a custom field, an item filtering option, or a category.

Click on OK

Click on OK to save your newly created attribute.

Click on OK

Attribute Dashboard

In the Attribute Dashboard, you should now see your newly created attribute. In the next guide, we will cover managing the values of an attribute.
