Configuring your storefront to use production restrictions and delivery restrictions
Once any calendars, production restrictions and delivery restrictions have been specified, we need to define where they are being used.
Production restrictions are assigned to products (within the product variant settings) or to product groups.
Delivery/Shipping restrictions are assigned to delivery methods.
The calendars, as we have seen in other tutorials, are directly applied to the production and delivery restrictions.
1. Navigate to the Product Variant settings of the product you wish to apply production restrictions to
First, we will apply our production restrictions on a product by product basis.

2. Click on Info

3. Select your production restriction specification from Production restriction dropdown

4. Check Enable Delivery Countdown
This enables a countdown clock for this particular product, showing how long the user has to place an order to get the product by a stated date.

5. Click on Save

6. Navigate to Delivery Computation

7. Click on Usage rules next to your chosen delivery provision

8. Select your chosen delivery restriction specification from Delivery restriction dropdown

9. Click on Save

10. Next, we will see how this appears on the front-end when placing an order

11. If production tiers were specified, changing the quantity will update the countdown clock
