1. To upload your data to the SAFE database, you first need to become a data uploader in the "Your Profile" tab.
2. Scroll down to find the "Request Upload Access" section and find your PI (If not, ask your PI to become a group leader, or contact us for assistance). Your group leader will review your request to allow you to upload the data.
3. After your data uploader role has been approved, you should see a new tab "Upload" appear in the nav bar, which means you are able to upload your data. Now, you can go to the "Data Uploader Dashboard".
4. Click on "Download Template". This template ensures that your data is formatted correctly for the SAFE database. Prepare and organize your data based on the template you downloaded.
5. Once your data is prepared, return to the "Upload" tab. Choose your data type such as "Experimental Results" and click the "Upload" button to upload your data for review.
6. Now you should see your data in the "My pending uploads" table. Your PI and our admin team will review the uploaded data to ensure it meets our quality and formatting standards. You will receive an email notification once your data has been reviewed and approved.
