OMJ Readiness Diploma Seal Tracking
Tracking Experiences for the OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal
The OMJ Readiness Seal shows that you’ve demonstrated strong professional skills in real-world settings. To earn it, you must:
Demonstrate proficiency in each of 14 identified professional skills
Show these skills in at least two of the following areas:
School
Work
Community
Have three trusted adults or mentors confirm your skills
Why It Matters:
Earning the OMJ Readiness Seal can help you in several important ways:
It counts as one of the graduation seals required for a high school diploma
It can be used as an alternative way to show competency for graduation
It can be applied toward an Ohio Honors Diploma, which recognizes students who go above and beyond with challenging coursework and meaningful experiences
Tracking your experiences through SchooLinks helps you stay organized, reflect on your growth, and make progress toward your graduation goals.
