Navigate to your Custom dashboards page

Click Add New Dashboard to build out a brand new custom dashboard.

In this example, we want to monitor the open chargebacks for both of your Braintree MIDs. As such, we'll add the Chargeback Status Categories chart. To locate it in the left navigation panel, start typing the name of the chart in the search bar.

Click the name of the chart Chargeback Status Categories twice. Each time you click the chart's name, the chart will appear in one of the open chart spots on your dashboard

Most charts in Peacock contain a series of <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://docs.pagos.ai/docs/peacock-service-panel#charts-and-sub-charts">sub-charts</a>, each displaying relevant data through different lenses. On the first Chargeback Status Categories chart, click the blue sub-chart name to open the full drop-down menu. In this example, we're monitoring the value of all the open chargebacks for each of your Braintree MIDs, so click the Status Category Chargeback Value sub-chart. To ensure this is always the default sub-chart in your dashboard, click the blue star beside the sub-chart's name.Repeat this step for your second Chargeback Status Categories chart.

Set your preferred sub-chart

Next, filter the first of the two charts to only show chargeback data for one of your Braintree MIDs. To <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://docs.pagos.ai/docs/custom-dashboards#filtering-individual-charts-in-custom-dashboards">filter individual charts in custom dashboards</a>, you need to apply a View to that chart. Click the Views icon in the top-right corner of the chart, then click Add New View at the bottom of the drop-down menu.

Click the Data Source category to view its nested filter options, then click the Processor filter.

In the filter parameters pop up, click the first Braintree MID you want to view chargeback data for, then click Done.

Click the arrow beside Apply, then click Apply and Save View. This allows you to save your new View for future use when filtering any other chart or dashboard in Peacock.

Name your new View after the first Braintree MID you filtered for, then click Save.

You can confirm the first chart is now filtered by the new View because the name of the View (EUR MID) appears beside the View icon at the top of the chart. Next, set this view as the default View on your first chart; this will ensure the chart is always filtered according to this View's settings. To do so, click the View icon, scroll down to the bottom of the saved Views drop-down, and click the star icon beside the newest View.

(Click the View icon, click Add New View, then click the Processor filter in the left side navigation)

Repeat these steps to create a View for the second chart.

In the filter parameters pop up, click the second Braintree MID you want to view chargeback data for, then click Done.

Click the arrow beside Apply, then click Apply and Save View.

Repeat step 11, setting the second View (G2 MID) as the default for this chart.

Type a name into the text box below Adding Dashboard in the left side menu. The click Save to save your new custom dashboard.

To do so, click the arrow beside Dashboard in the navigation bar, then click Custom. Click the card containing the name of your dashboard. If you want to edit the dashboard, click the pencil icon, or click the trash icon to delete it from your Peacock Service Panel.

You can navigate back to this new custom dashboard at any time.

Any time you navigate back to this custom dashboard, you'll see the two Chargeback Status Category charts, filtered according to the assigned Views. In other words, this dashboard presents you with a side-by-side comparison of the total value of open chargebacks for your two Braintree MIDs.
