Setting up Tax Categories

1. 1. Easy categorization of taxes. Before you begin assigning specific product category tax rates, here's an example of how classification of taxes looks within a product.

   

2. 2. Uncheck

   

3. 3. Open drop down menu. There are 4 tax categories selectable here each corresponding to a certain tax % you could set.

   

Now, proceed to setup your own tax rates

1. 4. Click on Maintenance

   

2. 5. Click on Tax Category

   

3. 6. You can rename the tax category if you'd like to something that's easier for you to remember. However, we suggest not changing as hopefully you setup here and rarely return to update unless taxes change in your region.

   

4. 7. Now, adjust your tax % to your local region.

   

5. 8. Type your tax rate. Do not include any % symbo

   

6. 9. Click on Update

   

7. 10. The updated % now appears.
