How to Schedule an Exam in AIM

Students can follow these steps to schedule an accommodated exam.

On the left-hand side, under My Accommodations, select SAS Testing

Click "Select Class" to choose the course that requires an exam to be scheduled

Click "Schedule an Exam" when you have selected the correct course.

Scroll down to the Exam Detail section

This section includes all information needed to request an exam.

select the type of exam or quiz; select the campus; select the date and time; select the accommodations you wish to use; add any additional notes

Click on Exam Schedule Availability if you need to see the times for each testing center

For the date, you can type in the date or select the calendar to pick your date

Select the date you'd like to take the exam

Select the Accommodations you want to use on your exam. The accommodations listed are ones you've been approved for through SAS.

Add any additional information that might be needed to fulfill your testing accommodations. For example: if you have been approved for specialized equipment, specify (headphones, fidget spinner, etc.), medical equipment, etc.

Please note: You can indicate which exam number you need.

Click on "Add Exam Request" to complete your request. If any fields are missing, you'll receive an "Incomplete Fields" message.

A green Check Mark at the top along with the message "System Update is Successful" means the request was completed.

You can view your request by selecting "View All Upcoming Exam Requests"

Upcoming Requests will be listed with the Status of "Processing". Note that successfully submitting an exam request does not guarantee approval. You will receive an email which explains the next steps.

Faculty Testing Agreement

Your instructor must submit a Testing Agreement in order for us to further process your exam request. You will receive an email notifying you on whether your instructor has completed the agreement. If they have not completed the agreement, SAS recommends you discuss this with your instructor promptly.
